Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in 2015

I'll try to make this post short and sweet, I know we are all busy with the seasonal rush and work, school, church, etc! I just wanted to start by saying what a great year this has been!. Thomas finished up Junior Kindergarten with flying colors all while involved in gymnastics, church, and karate. Thomas turned five years old in July and started Kindergarten this August. We are so proud of our big boy. He is excelling in all subjects, loves to read, and has been taking piano lessons. We love hearing the Christmas songs he is learning along with "Ode to Joy" and "Hot Cross Buns!" I think music is in his blood (just like his Mom.) Carter is still working for BNSF Railway and doing some traveling while teaching other yardmasters new software operations. I am still taking care of the itty bitty babies in the NICU full-time weekdays. I love it and can't think of anything I would rather do as a nurse! As of 2014 I have been with the hospital I work for for 10 years! Hard to believe I have been doing this that long! Petey and Zena are still the best dogs and Thomas loves helping take care of them!

We have been fortunate to go on a few vacations this year, one was awfully magical! We stole away for a week down to Florida to see a famous mouse!

As well as riding EVERY SINGLE roller coaster, we met lots of Disney characters. Thomas was tickled to meet Handy Manny and Jake and the Neverland Pirates while I was giddy as a little girl meeting Ariel, Mary Poppins, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Elsa and Anna and so many others! It was the trip of a lifetime and so magical to experience it all over again through Thomas's eyes.  Carter was able to spend his whole birthday at Animal Kingdom and got lots of special treatment!! We were also able to sneak away to upstate NY in the Adirondack Mountains to spend some time at my mom's summer home. Thomas experienced his first sand castle and swim in a real beach. We all also enjoyed a canoe ride. Thomas was a great helper paddler to his Daddy. We shopped at Old Forge and really enjoyed the leisure of a beautiful mountainside home!
We also went to a couple of water parks and had a great "wet" time! This summer was nothing but fun fun fun! We also took a short detour through Hershey, Pennsylvania!!
We had a blast at Niagara Falls too! That was a beautiful and spectacular sight to see! Thomas got to ride a boat for the first time in Niagara Falls and get very wet even in his little poncho!!

Happy holidays and may the season bring blessings abundantly to you and yours!
All Our Love,
Carter, Susan, and Thomas
