Seasons Greetings

Happy Holidays!!! December 2007

Well, the time is upon us again. The holidays are right around the corner and the cold weather has settled in to stay. As 2007 closes we prepare for a new year with new beginnings and resolutions (we hope to keep this time)!

In early January we headed out West to Tucson for Susan's mom's milestone birthday. Her party was so much fun and it was truly wonderful to see friends and family who also flew in for the big event!

Sadly, in early March Susan's dad, Larry Solomon, passed away unexpectedly. He was a wonderful man whose wisdom and guidance will be missed by those he touched. However, he will continue to live in our hearts and we'll always remember what an admirable individual he truly was.

In May we took a much needed vacation to Temple/San Antonio/Austin areas in Texas. Carter fed an otter at Sea World and we got a "soggy" wave from Shamu! We were fortunate Texas is so beautiful as we may be planting roots there in the near future.

As for Susan, work and school have been keeping her quite busy. She is still happily working in the neonatal intensive care unit at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center and working on her master's of science in nursing. She can't wait for her August 2008 graduation!

Carter continues to work for the BNSF railroad and has been able to work locally more instead of being on the road. Susan really appreciates that he is home more often. He also took a nice break to go fishing with a good friend in Arkansas this summer.

Susan has been able to get back to Tucson a few times this year and was able to celebrate her nephew, Jake's, 3rd birthday with him. He sure is growing like a weed.

We were also able to get away this month for a New Jersey/New York trip. We celebrated a family Bar Mitzvah and went in to New York City for a couple of days! We were so excited because the whole family made it out East. Susan's mom, her sister, brother-in-law, and Jake were all there! It was wintery-cold but a wonderful family get-together around the holidays! It was great to see the Solomon's and 'catch-up!'

As for these holidays we plan to spend them together, very low-key and cozy! I know Zena and Petey will love that! We pray that your families are healthy and happy and may 2008 be full of peace and blessings!

All Our Love,
Carter, Susan, Zena and Petey
